My friend Lisa sent me the story of her recent weekend. Lisa isn't the first customer-come-friend at Faceplant, but definitely one near and dear to my heart. Lisa carries Faceplant in 3-4 of her boutiques in any given month and is a big personal fan, so she gifts it wherever she goes. And as you'll see, she clearly shares the Faceplant love with her family.
Lisa wrote to tell us that Faceplant was upfront and present with her family for the entirety of the Steamboat Marathon weekend. She clarified that she personally walked the 10K - she left the marathoning for others.
Her race day started when she woke up in her black pants and v-neck tank. She rolled into her grey soft leggings for the race. (with the perfect pockets - fit to handle even the longest walks.)

10K later,crossing the finish line. In her own words "I'm just happy to be finished and alive - there is a killer hill straight up for the first mile! Honestly, the main reason I do this is the beer after. And the t shirt. And family. It’s certainly not for the damned hill!"
The best part of Lisa's story isn't about the actual race, but what happened after. When they showered and lounged after the race, the entire family was dressed in Faceplant Dreams. Not planned. Not discussed. Just what everyone gravitated toward for comfort.
